Spring Has Sprung!

Anyone who gardens knows the moments we live for are the surprise that comes when we see those first buds or flowers each spring. This year with the help of my garden guru Chris, I really jumped in with gusto and planted so many new plants. Chris brought some cuttings from his yard as well as the garden center. It's a lot for me to take care of and learn about all once but I know with guidance and patience our little spot on the hill will become the beautiful paradise I have always dreamed it could be.

So here is what I discovered today. This is Maggie. Chris brought this from a cutting of a rose he has been growing a his home for about 7 years. This is the first flower I have seen and she is a beauty.. She also has the most fragrant smell.. Lots of buds waiting to open so about another week or so and I bet she is covered.
